The substituted A-Series 1,275cc inline-four features a mild cam and transfers power to the front wheels via a sump-oiled four-speed manual transaxle. In 2016, adjustments were made to the engine timing and carburetor, and a new fuel pump was installed in 2017. Shifter bearings were replaced in 2018, and an ANSA twin-outlet exhaust has been introduced.
